Senior Program Manager-Employee Development   



We are seeking a mix of talented professionals ranging from those just beginning their professional careers to those with significant experience at commercial nuclear power plants.

Qualifications

Education:

Required:

  • Facilitator/instructor certification (or has the aptitude to complete certification in timely manner)
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Develop, implement, and maintain high quality programs and courses

Preferred: Degree in organizational development or similar field

Experience: Required: Three or more years using all aspects of ADDIE process to create and/or deliver training (or has aptitude to gain proficiency in timely manner) Preferred:

  • One or more years' experience in a developing and delivering job skills/task training
  • One or more years' experience in developing and delivering leadership training
  • One or more years' management or supervisory experience

Duties

  • Develop, implement, and maintain high-quality employee development programs and courses
  • Develop, facilitate, instruct, and maintain high-quality training and qualification programs for the INPO extended leadership team
  • Establish and implement development programs for specific employees and/or groups
  • Manage and coordinate Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) certification training with member utilities and vendor organizations
  • Work with managers, employees, and the Evaluation Training Council (ETC) to address training issues and develop solutions
  • Develop and maintain up-to-date training lesson plans and materials
  • Use diverse training methodologies to enhance the student learning experience

Knowledge

  • Advanced knowledge of the systematic approach to training
  • Advanced knowledge of adult learning principles and learning styles
  • Knowledge of eLearning authoring software
  • Knowledge of management processes and leadership development

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong leadership skills when leading teams
  • Analyze data, identify performance gaps, and devise training and non-training solutions to most effectively address those gaps
  • Develop performance-support tools such as job aids and short videos
  • Mentoring and coaching others in training development
